Quick-Turn Electro Chemical Cutting (ECC) is one of the most effective methods for producing burr-free cuts on small-diameter stainless steel tubing because of its precision, speed, and consistency. Whether for high or low production volumes, ECC provides the capability to cut thin-wall and tight-tolerance tubing without introducing mechanical stress, heat distortion, or material deformation. Unlike traditional abrasive cutting methods, this non-contact process delivers clean, square tube ends with minimal need for secondary finishing, while also supporting faster throughput and highly repeatable results.

Prototype and Production Cutting
NEST provides prototype and production cutting for sizes between .012” OD and .625” OD, with lead times as short as 1 week on quantities up to 30,000. Production tube cutting is also available with competitive lead times on quantities up to 250,000 and higher.
Precise, clean cuts are necessary to ensure the integrity and performance of the final product. NEST can hold length tolerances as tight as ± .001”.
