Veterinary Needles Fabricated to be Safe for Animals

Gavage needles are essential in animal research, neonatal care, and recovery situations, where precise and consistent nutrient or medication delivery is critical. Safe, effective needles for these deliveries is crucial, therefore stainless steel veterinary feeding needles have a “barrel” shaped tip. This barrel shaped tip is designed to prevent injury to the animal by ensuring no sharp edges contact soft tissues.

NEST currently offers veterinary needles in straight, bent, and straight malleable format. Blunt tip, barrel or ball tip designs for oral or esophageal feeding, with options for curved shafts and luer-lock fittings. We will fabricate and assemble custom needle versions if an application requires it. Each needle variation is also available in different lengths and standard hypodermic tube sizes to accommodate any application. These stainless steel veterinary needles are reusable and autoclavable.
