A corset is produced by forcing a shaped roller into contact with the outside diameter of a tube, creating a groove in the surface of the tubing. The corset can be different shapes and sizes depending on the diameter of the roller selected.
The corset provides not just a grooved shape on the outside diameter, but also constricts the inner diameter as well. This can be useful when trying to limit or control the flow of a liquid inside the tube. Tube Grinding can also provide a groove on the outside diameter, but will not constrict the inner diameter of the tubing.
